Developer experience: typed SDK, schema-as-code and CLI
Ship types, a dependency-free client and a CLI that diffs and pushes schema definitions, so application code follows the registry automatically.
Situation
Client applications drift from the backend contract because types are maintained by hand and contract changes are discovered at runtime.
Approach
The registry generates TypeScript types and a small client, while the CLI pulls, diffs and pushes schema definitions from a repository. Schema changes are reviewed like code, and the generated artifacts keep applications aligned with what is actually published.
What the platform changes
- Generated types instead of hand-maintained interfaces
- Schema definitions reviewed in version control
- Diffs surface destructive changes before they run
